Ariella has been in her current full-time job for two years and was the Summer Assistant Director for 3 years prior to that.
Ariella came to Ramah for the first time in 2000, after her Army service, as a member of the “mishlachat”, the Israeli delegation.
After falling in love with camp, Ariella came back summer after summer from her home in Israel, in various roles.
Ariella brings her creativity, her love of working with young adults, her background in the Education Unit of the IDF, Jewish Philosophy at Hebrew University and studies in Theater at the “School of Visual Theater” to the role.
Ariella can be found on the track, talking to staff members, unit heads or solving a crisis!
At camp when Ariella has some spare time, she enjoys running or swimming and hanging out with her favorite 2 people- her husband Nachum and daughter Miya.

Casey and Adam Green- Tikvah Directors

Adam and Casey Green are looking forward to their second summer as Tikvah Directors at Camp Ramah Canada.  Adam spent many summers at Ramah, both as a camper and on tzevet, and Casey worked on staff at other camps, and in summer as well as year long programs in Israel. 

When not at camp, Casey's background is in special needs, having worked at the Muki Baum Centre and at the Geneva Centre for Autism.  Currently, she teaches in the Toronto District School Board.  Adam works as an MSW at the Griffin Centre, working with teenagers with Dual Diagnosis, and also counselling in the larger community. 

They have 2 young children; Avi, aged 2 who can't wait to be back at camp, playing with his friends in the gan, and Noa, 5 months who is eagerly anticipating the first of many wonderful summers at camp.

Elissa is a registered social worker who has worked with children and families throughout her career.  She brings her therapeutic expertise, her passion for camp and her desire to ensure that as many children as possible have the opportunity to experience the magic of Ramah, to this position. In addition to Elissa's work with campers and parents, a highlight of her summers is collaborating with the fantastic tzevet at camp.

Elissa and her husband, Justin, have 4  sons; Samuel, Jonah, Ezra and Isaac, who are all already counting down the days until camp starts.
