I am sure many of you have fond memories of baking challah and chocolate chip cookies in Bishul at camp, as well as of the other fun programs at Camp. As a special project, we have arranged that 30 percent of the sales of the cookbook by Ramahniks, friends and family will be donated to Camp Ramah in Canada to augment the Bishul and other programs at Camp. Your participation will make all the difference and I guarantee your families will benefit from the well-tested array of recipes in the cookbook.
Shawna Goodman is an alumni of Camp Ramah in Canada where she attended camp from Nitzanim to Staff from 1982-1991. While paddling on Skeleton Lake she met her husband Todd Sone and now lives in Montreal with their three sons. Shawna trained at the Institute of Culinary training and the Natural Gourmet Cooking School in New York City. Panache is Shawna’s first cookbook and she continues to teach low fat cooking in Montreal.
