NEWS FROM CAMP
In addition to the letters you will be receiving from your child/ren, camp
will be sending regular updates to parents by email and posting news on the
Ramah website on a regular basis. Please bookmark our web page -
www.campramah.com. You will be able to see photos, learn about programs,
weather reports, menus, etc.
CHANGE OF SUMMER ADDRESS
It is important that parents notify the camp of any change in their
permanent or summer address and telephone number.
PACKAGES FROM HOME
For security reasons, packages are not to be sent to camp, and any packages
received will be returned to sender. Please inform all family and friends of
this important policy. This policy eliminates delivery vehicles driving in
and out of camp, and alleviates pressure on parents and other relatives to
send packages. DO NOT send food or candy in the mail. All large envelopes
will be opened and the campers will not receive any food or candy contents.
If you need to send clothing or other emergency items to your children,
please contact our office to make appropriate arrangements. We appreciate
your understanding and support.
CAMP CLOCK
Camp operates on Eastern Daylight Time.
TELEPHONE CALLS TO CAMPERS
Telephone calls to campers will not be accepted except in cases of real
emergency.
If you must call of urgent necessity, please leave a message in our office
and we will do our best to have it delivered at the earliest possible time.
If you must call, please take note of the following hours when the
switchboard is open:
Sunday - Thursday 9:00 A.M. - 8:30 P.M. EDST
Friday 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. EDST
Shabbat Emergency calls only
If you have an urgent matter to discuss, please call and leave a specific
message. Your call will be returned once the problem has been investigated
by the specifically designated parent liaison staff person.
TELEPHONE CALLS FROM CAMPERS
Campers will not have access to pay phones. Your child, therefore, will not
be able to call you.
