VISITORS
Camp Ramah in Canada is a private community, with limited availability for visitors and guests. Visitors may never "drop in" or enter the camp without prior approval of the Director. Additionally, no visitors are allowed in camp from Friday afternoon (once Shabbat has begun) to Saturday night. Visitors cannot walk into camp on Shabbat under any circumstances. Overnight visitors may only stay in the guest facility designated by the Camp Director and confirmed at the time of check-in at the office. NO GUEST MAY SLEEP IN A CAMPER CABIN.
VISITORS' DAY
The official Visitors' Day of the Camp (July 20, 2008) is a visitors' day for campers. All staff members will have obligations on that day which may preclude spending significant time with visitors.
WHAT TO LEAVE AT HOME
Camp Ramah cannot guarantee and is not responsible for the safe return of expensive or breakable items. Please do not bring expensive jewelry to camp or unnecessary electrical appliances. The following are prohibited: TVs, VCRs, DVD players and computers.
XYLOTYPOGRAPHY
All campers and staff are responsible for maintaining the beauty and physical condition of camp. Graffiti, xylotypography, engraving and/or printing on the cabins and in public places is forbidden.
YOU
Camp Ramah regards its staff highly. Your growth, development and happiness are important to the camp. Although the camp operation must be focused on the campers themselves, Ramah cares deeply about helping to provide its staff with a happy, safe and meaningful experience. Let us know if you have any suggestions to add to the quality of life for staff at Ramah, or for improving the camp as a whole. We look forward to working with you this summer in advance and thank you for all your efforts, co-operation and commitment to Camp Ramah in Canada.
